The Philippine Civic Action Group-Vietnam, a small and relatively unknown ally during the war in Vietnam, provided medical assistance to South Vietnam during their deployment from 1964 until 1968. Prior to the war, the Philippines also provided medical assistance during operation Brotherhood in 1953.
